About Borovets
Borovets is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria & is steeped in history dating back to 1896. Today Borovets is the largest & most modern resort in Bulgaria, situated 1300m above sea level in the protected pine forests on the eastern part of the Rila mountain range. The Borovets resort really does have something for everyone - from skiing to hiking, swimming to historical tours.
Local Area
The Villa is located in the peaceful area of Shipocane set in the Rila Mountains and has a local track nearby where goats, sheep and cows pass through and is ideal for hiking, bird watching and mountain biking. There is a variety of wildlife, including, stalks, hawks and swallows in the area which can be viewed from the balcony or garden. Close to all local amenities (see list below) which makes it ideally situated for all year round rental potential.
